Raja Ampat

Raja Ampat is a special place. Author Jennifer Idol is traveling this week to share her experiences exploring the cradle of our oceans.

Jennifer shared, "I used to dream of a place where lush mountain and oceans met. It would seem I was dreaming of Indonesia.

The region is an archipelago of islands marked by four large islands, the four kings. It is one of the most biologically diverse places on the planet. This makes creating images difficult because it is difficult to ignore the thousands of other animals. I could never begin to document all the life here in my lifetime.

Papua-Diving is hosting me on this adventure. My sense of love for our planet is reinforced tenfold here. This resort is off the grid and operates with extreme consideration for sustainable living.

I look forward to sharing Raja Ampat with you this month."
