FROM THE AUTHOR

"I grew up in a landlocked, communist and patriarchal country—with big dreams.

At 22, I left Hungary with one wild idea: travel the world as a professional scuba diver—solo, female, and without money I didn't have. My "why" was simple: freedom. I wanted to see every ocean, explore every corner of the earth, and spend as much time weightless and free as possible.

This solo female travel memoir and ocean healing book follows my journey from Eastern Europe to becoming the youngest female PADI scuba diving Course Director globally and Hollywood underwater stuntwoman and safety coordinator—working with Kate Winslet and James Cameron on Avatar across 27 films in 57 countries. As a woman traveler navigating male-dominated industries and cultures alone, I built the impossible.

But somewhere in chasing the next film credit, I lost sight of why I'd started.

Diving Into Dreams is a women's adventure story and spiritual journey about redefining success—through Buddhist mindfulness discovered while traveling through Asia, a cancer survival story at 39, and the career pivot from Hollywood to building an entrepreneurship journey with my jewelry business and family in Los Angeles.

This is a story about courage, perseverance, and the wisdom to know when to stop chasing and start living.

For anyone who's ever wondered if their impossible dream is worth pursuing—or if achieving it will finally feel like enough.

REVIEWS:
"
Powerful story of reinvention and living a full, unapologetic life. Gogh's skill at storytelling transforms this memoir into a suspenseful page-turner, beginning with what feels like one nightmare after another but, through her resilience and incredible focus, evolves into a fairytale worth telling." -- Publishers Weekly

"Her diving success, and even her ultimate role as a stuntwoman in TV and film, are just a small part of this book's full and impressive account." -- Kirkus

"What sets this memoir apart from many travel and adventure books is its maturity. Gogh isn't just chasing thrills for the sake of them. She examines the cost of ambition, the drive to achieve, and the fine line between passion and restlessness." -- Reedsy Discovery
