Fundamentals of Hyperbaric Medicine South Africa September 16th-20th, 2019 This 5 day program is an approved UHMS Designated Introductory Course in Hyperbaric Medicine and an Approved Hyperbaric Medicine Training Course by the NBDHMT. Qualified students will receive 40-hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. This activity will be held at the Milpark Hospital, Johannesburg, South Africa. Hyperbaric Medical Technologist October 21st - November 2nd, 2019 This 100-hour course is designed to meet the CSAZ275.4 standard. This course consists of 2 modules: fundamentals of hyperbaric medicine which is approved by the NBDHMT and is accredited for 40hrs of CME credits by the UHMS; and the clinical hyperbaric chamber operator with certification by the Divers Certification Board of Canada. Hyperbaric Technician February 2nd - 7th, 2020
This technician course covers the necessary skills and knowledge for maintaining a hyperbaric facility including: operating principles of the main control equipment; air filtration systems; hyperbaric electric systems; and maintenance & inspection of acrylic windows. Also included: hands-on training in Swagelok fittings & tube bending; HP Bauer compressor servicing; oxygen cleaning; and HP cylinder inspection.

Hyperbaric Safety Director February 7th- 9th, 2020 This 3-day program provides necessary tools and resources to fulfill the responsibilities of the Hyperbaric Safety Director (as defined by CSA Z275.1). Hyperbaric Medical Emergency Simulation February 10th, 2020 The HMES course is an interactive team simulation course aimed at improving team dynamics to optimize patient outcomes in a crisis. Students will get hands-on experience dealing with monoplace and multiplace emergency scenarios, followed by discussions and feedback from the faculty. Click here to register or for more information.
