This 21-Day Challenge program was launched in November 2014 in coordination with National Diabetes Awareness Month. To support the movement, Best Publishing Company and our sister company Wound Care Education Partners teamed up to create the 21-Day Diabetes and Wound Care Challenge!

We've developed this educational challenge to help you sharpen your skills and expand your knowledge for managing wounds for patients with diabetes. The 21-Day Challenge is full of our richest content on the use of wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy in managing wounds for patients with diabetes.

With many of you having busy schedules, the challenge format allows you to learn in short bursts (approx. 30 minutes per day), and the content is organized and broken down for you in manageable pieces. By the end of the 21 days you will be fluent in (or have a full review of) managing wounds for patients with diabetes and eligible to earn up to 10.5 continuing nursing education hours.

Here is a quick sample of some of the topics we will be covering over the 21 days:

  • Treatment of Diabetic Ulcers
  • Foot and Ulcer Evaluation
  • Glycemic Control for Diabetic Patients Receiving HBOT
  • Diabetic Limb Salvage
  • Patient Case Studies
  • Test Your Knowledge Quizzes
  • And a whole lot more...!

The content is cataloged and organized on a special challenge webpage so you can go back at any time (during or after the challenge) and revisit the material. Access to the content is limited to challenge participants only and you can access the material immediately upon registration.
